We're from Wisconsin. Came here specifically because of a recommendation. Completely, 1,000% worth it. I had pulled chicken with bbq sauce, and banana pudding. Husband and kids has BBQ pulled pork, beans and coleslaw (vinegary). Also of note: the cornbread was AMAZING. It was grilled... awesome!
We went on a weeknight with our extended family's. Including our 90 yr old grandma, and our 13 and 15 year olds.
It started getting busy, around 5. I think they have 50cent wings then. -

BBQ is very good ribs were cooked properly and tasty. Pulled pork is good. Not much choice of sauce, but it is good tomato based. Coleslaw is sort of pickled and good. Cornbread is lightly fired and good. Cornbread dressing is good. Fried pickles are excellent and a big portion. Banana pudding is heavy on the whipped cream that is mixed in. Not my thing. Worth a visit.

My husband and I visited for the first time today! So good! Can't beat a $10 pulled bbq sandwich plate! (With 2 sides and a drink ) definitely will be back

We enjoyed Moe's one Sunday afternoon. The establishment is very laid back (in a good way) and the food is very good.
We ordered the pulled pork platter, a pulled pork sandwich, the catfish platter, and the smoked turkey platter. Between the four of us we tried their baked beans, potato salad, mac & cheese, marinated Cole slaw, and banana pudding. All were all great.
Three major stands out! Their corn bread (it looks like a piece of Texas toast in the picture) is a thick cut slab, coated with a layer of butter and honey, and then toasted on a griddle. And if that's not enough, while the outside is sweet and crispy, the inside is soft and riddled with bits of tasty jalapeños. The smoked turkey was succulent and the marinated cole slaw with pickled fresh jalapeños is the perfect combination of tangy/spicy/sweet!
This cool little restaurant is nestled in the heart of Auburn country so be prepared to support the Tigers while you eat!
Things to know: they do not have brisket on the menu (my favorite); they do not have fried okra (another favorite of mine); and surprisingly they do not have fries on the menu, either, but you can request them if they are not out. -

My dad and I ate here after a long and tiring walk around the Auburn University campus. It definitely hit the spot! We are from Texas and have never had white Alabama BBQ sauce and it did not disappoint! I had the smoked chicken platter with baked beans and mac and cheese and it was delicious. My dad grew up in Memphis and gives the pulled pork sandwich and bbq sauce two thumbs up. I also tried slaw for the first time and was pleasantly surprised!! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Check it out!!!
